How To Get Rid Of The iexplore. exe Virus

You may have seen iexplore.exe errors on your computer and wonder what’s causing it. The iexplore.exe file originally belongs to Internet Explorer, but a virus is now disguising itself as iexplore.exe in order to hide its tracks.

Try opening up Task Manager when Internet Explorer is not running. When you right-click the task bar and open up the Task Manager, do you see the task “iexplore.exe” running? If so, and you know that Internet Explorer is not running, then you have a virus in the computer system.
